On September 21, 2014, the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement opened its doors for the first time in celebration of the International Day of Peace. Since then, the CPA has hosted Peace Week to celebrate and promote the pursuit of peace and justice in our community and around the world.
If Trauma Could Echo
If Trauma Could Echo is a community-based project that acknowledges and grieves the untold stories of trauma collected from students, staff, and faculty at Conrad Grebel University College and the University of Waterloo. This project accompanies Yasmeen Nematt Alla's exhibit at the Grebel Gallery, Not Traumatic Enough for a Shock Blanket.

Voices Together: A Celebration of Art and Music
Voices Together: A Celebration of Art and Music explores the complementary nature of visual art and worship in the Mennonite Church. Featuring over a dozen works of art found in Voices Together, the exhibition offers visitors a more intimate view of the art found in this new Mennonite hymnal.
Map the System Campus Final
After months of research, learning, and preparation, the six top Map the System teams at UWaterloo will compete at the virtual Campus Final on April 7, 2022.
Map the System is a global challenge hosted by Oxford University that tasks students with mapping a problem using systems-thinking tools. Students will pitch their completed "map" of their problem to a panel of judges, with the winners receiving cash prizes and the opportunity to represent the University of Waterloo at the virtual Canadian Final
The X Page Workshop Performance
Join us for this year's X Page Performance, where 10 refugee and immigrant women from Waterloo Region perform their stories.
"The X Page Writing and Performance Workshop" is based on Lynda Barry’s teaching and philosophy. It's the opposite of a blank page: it’s the space where we enter into an image using all of our senses.
