On September 21, 2014, the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement opened its doors for the first time in celebration of the International Day of Peace. Since then, the CPA has hosted Peace Week to celebrate and promote the pursuit of peace and justice in our community and around the world.

If Trauma Could Echo is a community-based project that acknowledges and grieves the untold stories of trauma collected from students, staff, and faculty at Conrad Grebel University College and the University of Waterloo. This project accompanies Yasmeen Nematt Alla's exhibit at the Grebel Gallery, Not Traumatic Enough for a Shock Blanket.

On September 23, 2021 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, staff and faculty from Conrad Grebel University College are invited to join the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement and artist Yasmeen Nematt Alla for an evening of reflection and community in honour of Peace Week 2021.

Register to drop in to the Kindred Credit Union Centre for Peace Advancement from 12:00 - 1:00 pm to learn about internship, work, and volunteer opportunities available with Grebel Peace Incubator participants and Core Collaborators co-located at the Centre.

The Map the System pitch competition asks you to select a social or environmental issue and to explore, probe, and research all the connecting elements and factors around it. We want you to present this issue back to us in a way that people can understand, share, and learn from.
