Thulium: This thulium tile, created through Photoshop, was inspired by the street art "Andre the Giant," with the man who discovered the element, Per Teodor Cleve, replacing Andre in the center. Thulium is used in portable X-ray machines: the word X-ray replaces the street art’s "obey". Thulium is also used in superconductors; hence the presence of train rails on the right-hand border and its use in lasers is represented by the red beam. The background represents thulium bromide (very pure) in its natural form. The top left shows a sample of thulium with an interesting surface.
