Have you completed your online safety training? It is a requirement for all students in the Department of Chemistry upon arrival on campus.
Academic Integrity Training
As a graduate student you will be required to complete two separate assignments on Academic Integrity. They are as follows:
Academic Integrity Module:
The Graduate AIM is an online course that all new graduate students are required to take through Waterloo LEARN. Students must read the information about academic integrity and then receive a mark of at least 75% on an online quiz. The quiz must be successfully completed within the first 6 weeks of the term. You will be contacted by AIM regarding this module.
Faculty of Science Academic Integrity Workshop:
This workshop is in addition to the basic AIM module all graduate students must complete and is a milestone for all SCI graduate students. The workshop is conducted by the Faculty of Science Graduate Office, is a required, and must be completed in the first two terms of your program. You will be contacted by the Faculty of Science Graduate Office regarding registration.
The Academic Integrity Workshop consists of a live session in addition to the workshop session. You must obtain >=75% on the workshop quiz (on LEARN) and fill and sign the pledge form (also on the LEARN workshop), and submit it to the Dropbox folder (in the same LEARN workshop) before the credit can be processed.
The recipients of NSERC and OGS scholarships receive, in addition to the scholarship, $5,000 to $10,000 in each year the scholarship is held.
