CHEM 494A and CHEM 494B are to be taken in separate terms. This is the expected timeframe. Any other arrangement needs to be discussed with the chair of Chemistry who is responsible for CHEM 494 (Professor Bill Power). Under no circumstances will CHEM 494A and CHEM 494B be permitted to be taken in the same term if the student has a full academic load. Other restrictions may also apply.

Interim reports

Please note that two bound copies will be due at the time of submission to Janice Campbell, C2-282 (Chemistry Office).

For students taking CHEM 494A (Winter 2017)/Chem 494B (Spring 2017), interim reports will be due on Monday, May 15, 2017 by 4 p.m.

For students taking CHEM 494A/B (Spring 2017), interim reports will be due on Monday, June 12, 2017 by 4 p.m.

For students taking CHEM 494A (Spring 2017)/Chem 494B (Fall 2017), interim reports will be due on Monday, September 18, 2017 by 4 p.m.

Final reports

Please note that two bound copies will be due at the time of submission to Janice Campbell, C2-282 (Chemistry Office).

As per university policy, all course work must be completed and submitted by the last official day of classes. Therefore, the deadline for final reports is as follows:

For students taking CHEM 494A (Winter 2017)/CHEM 494B (Spring 2017) or CHEM 494A/B (Spring 2017), final reports will be due by Monday, July 25, 2017 by 4 p.m.

For students taking CHEM 494A (Spring 2017)/CHEM 494B (Fall 2017), final reports will be due by Monday, December 4, 2017 by 4 p.m.
