The Biochemistry Students Association (BSA) is a student-run club at Waterloo that aims to build community, encourage student involvement, and provide academic support for students in biochemistry and related programs. BSA hosts social and academic events to help students connect with peers, succeed academically, and strengthen the sense of community. Some highlights include Student Prof Night (an opportunity for students to build connections with graduate students and professors), Milk and Cookies (students to enjoy cookies and milk while connecting with their peers and academic advisors), and Shrink Charms with Crafts 4 Charity (students create their own keychains using shrink plastic). BSA hopes to continue creating opportunities that help students grow, connect, and thrive in the biochemistry community at Waterloo.

BSA is always looking for ways to share alumni perspectives with students! If you’re interested in sharing your post-grad experience or connecting with current biochem undergraduate students, please feel free to reach out at bsawaterloo@gmail.com.
