The Biochemistry Students Association: Spring 2026 update

The Biochemistry Student Association (BSA) works to support biochemistry undergraduates at the University of Waterloo in both their academic and future professional endeavours.  

Our career panel was our most successful event this year, welcoming four alumni who are currently employed in industry jobs in biochemistry or biotechnology to talk about how their undergraduate experience prepared them to move into their current careers. The event also included a question-and-answer session and was catered by food services. It was both informative and a great chance for networking! We are grateful for the Science Society funding that made this possible.  

We look forward to hosting more events that help guide science students through their undergraduate journey, including networking opportunities and course review sessions.
