Argon,18, Ankeny High School, Iowa USA
Argon: I used Sir William Ramsey and Lord Rayleigh because in 1894 they discovered argon. I decided to keep their old top hats and mustaches so it would be a little more obvious as to who they were. I put them in wet suits because argon is used in the suits since it is non-reactive and good for insulation. I decided to have them perched on top of the Earth because there is 0.94% of argon in the Earth's atmosphere. I also included Mars in the background because 1.6% of its atmosphere contains argon.

Marinda Fuller's artwork was chosen through a contest with all chemistry classes. Medium: acrylic paint. Teacher: Mr. Fickbohm, Ankeny High School, Ankeny, Iowa, U.S.A.
