Palladium: After researching the element Palladium, I soon knew what I would put in my periodic tile. To begin with I drew South America, because that is where the element was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston. The large red X over it signifies the discovery. Palladium was named after the Greek goddess of wisdom and the asteroid Pallas. The goddess has an owl above her to show her wisdom and is sitting on the asteroid. Lastly, the starry atmosphere is also a characteristic for the asteroid, and the little gold spots in SA shows its relation to other elements.
