Biography

Laura Deakin is a Continuing Lecturer for the Department of Chemistry and the Associate Dean of Science for Teaching and Learning. She is also the Director of Safety for the Faculty of Science.

Laura teaches a variety of undergraduate courses in nanotechnology and inorganic chemistry. She has received the University of Waterloo Outstanding Performance Award in 2014, and the University of Waterloo Chemistry Club Teaching Excellence Award in 2012.
