Medicinal Chemistry

This course discusses the drug discovery process and drug synthesis. Topics include: enzymes and receptors, hit and lead discovery, lead optimization, QSAR, prodrugs, drug delivery, drug metabolism, mechanisms of selected drugs and laboratory and process scale synthesis of selected drugs.
