Courses

All of the courses in the Communication Arts and Design Practice Program (CADP) include a strong interactive and applied component. Students are expected to understand the theory guiding and describing communication and to apply theoretical material to their own lives. Personal reflection, team work, use of LEARN, community engagement, and service-learning are prominent features of many of our courses.

CADP students take courses in all three Communication Arts disciplines.  Find course titles and course descriptions for each subject on the Undergraduate Calendar Course description page: Communication Studies, Digital Arts Communication, and Theatre and Performance. Here you will find more detailed registration information, such as course credit amounts and prerequisites. You may also find out when courses are offered by referring to the  Schedule of Classes. For more specific information or questions, you will need to talk with your undergraduate advisor.
