Subject: Participate in a new graduate Work-Integrated Learning experience
Dear graduate students,
I am pleased to announce a new Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) pilot course open to all graduate students, offered through a collaboration between Graduate Studies and Postdoctoral Affairs, Co-operative and Experiential Education and the Master of Public Service program.
The course, Consulting Experience, will provide an opportunity for students to engage as part of an interdisciplinary team where they are working on projects with an industry or community partner related to sustainable impact and/or policy landscapes.
Consulting Experience will allow participants to gain the following benefits:
- Real work experience to bring theoretical knowledge to life
- Practical industry/community partner experience, connections, and feedback
- Access to employers who value global insights
- Opportunity to develop and showcase employability skills
- Experience working within an interdisciplinary team
- Career development support from the Centre for Career Action and Centre for WIL
Applications to participate in the course are required, and will be reviewed on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, and on an ongoing basis, thereafter, if space remains available.
For more information, including how to apply, please visit theConsulting Experience course web page. If you have questions about the course offering, please contact Ben McDonald.
