Scholarships will be awarded annually to graduate students registered in the Department of History. A committee within the department will select recipients based on academic achievement and criteria such as community service and work experience.
Program
A bursary fund established by the Student Life Centre Management Board (formerly Campus Centre Board) is available to graduate and undergraduate students experiencing financial difficulties.
Up to three awards valued at up to $2,500 each will be provided in the Winter term to graduate students registered full-time in the second term of their Master's program at the University of Waterloo.
An International Doctoral Student Award (IDSA) will be provided automatically to eligible students who are registered full-time in a doctoral program at the University of Waterloo.
One award of $1,000 will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in the Faculty of Environment at the University of Waterloo who has made a tangible difference in the quality of education and student life within the Faculty of Environment, with special consideration being given to those applicants who have contributed to a successful WESEF proposal.
The fellowships, valued at no more than $4,000 per student per term will be awarded annually to full-time University of Waterloo graduate students registered in a degree-granting program in any Faculty.
This annual award will recognize a graduate student in the Department of Political Science who has displayed an outstanding performance during their Teaching Assistantship.
Scholarships with a value of at least $1,000 will be awarded annually to graduate students registered full time in the master’s or doctoral program in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering.
The Wayne C. Fox scholarship was established to attract the very best students to the Faculty of Arts and to recognize the achievements of outstanding young scholars.
The Master of Environment and Business (MEB) Awards are available annually to eligible MEB students who are currently registered or will be registered in the MEB program and who are not receiving full tuition funding from their employer or another source.
