Your input will help shape the University’s ongoing work to improve the student experience.

Graduate students are invited to share their experiences at the University of Waterloo through the Winter 2026 Student Experience Survey (SES), running from February 9–27, 2026.

The survey gathers student feedback on learning environments, academic supports, workload, faculty services, and overall student experience. Results help guide improvements across faculties and university support units, ensuring student voices directly inform institutional decision-making.

All eligible graduate students registered in the Winter 2026 term will receive an invitation by email and through LEARN. The survey takes approximately 10 minutes to complete and is confidential and voluntary.

How to participate

  • Step 1: Log into LEARN or check your @uwaterloo.ca e-mail beginning February 9 for an invitation from the Statistical Consulting and Survey Research Unit (iapscsru@uwaterloo.ca).

  • Step 2: Click the survey link in the email or look for the "Participate in the Student Survey" notice in LEARN. The survey should take approximately 10 minutes to complete.
