The CyberCity Conference is planned for October 1.
The goal of the conference is to bring companies and professionals in the region to share a common passion and help put Waterloo Region on the map as Canada's CyberCity.
With the growing shortage of cybersecurity professionals, the conference will showcase Waterloo Region as a cybersecurity hub of talent to attract more professionals and cybersecurity companies to the region. The conference will also highlight cybersecurity as a challenging and rewarding career path to entice more people to join it.
