Jaime Simons

Assistant Museum Curator - Science Museum and Galleries (Spring 2019)

Jaime looking off into the distanceI am a fourth year Honours Anthropology/Archaeology and Arts & Business student with a minor in Fine Arts. My interest is in museums and developing interactive exhibits with an educational focus. This term, I helped create the new “Timeline of Elements” exhibit in the Science & Teaching Complex (STC), featuring a wall mural of the discovery of the elements, a mosaic of Dmitri Mendeleev, and interactive displays about metallurgy, electrolysis, spectroscopy, and nuclear synthesis.
