Anne Innis Dagg Wins Lane Anderson Award

Waterloo Women's Studies affiliate Anne Innis Dagg has won the Lane Anderson Award for excellence in science writing, sharing the distinction with writer Caroline Fox. Anne's children's book, 5 Giraffes, introduces children to captive and wild giraffes, information garnered through her ground-breaking research, and the first person to study African animals in the wild. Anne will be donating her $10,000 prize to Save the Giraffes.
