The ARTS 490 class took water samples at different points along the reach of Laurel Creek that runs through the university.

Field Work
Students went out into the field to take water samples at four points in Laurel Creek on campus: Upstream of Health Services, Downstream of Health Services, Upstream of the Ceremonial Fire Grounds and Downstream of the Ceremonial Fire Grounds.

Water Testing
Students in class tested the samples from the field for different parameters: Hardness, Alkalinity, Carbonate, specific conductivity, and pH.
