GSA Legal Aid Clinic

The next GSA Legal Aid session will be held on Thursday April 25, 2013.  Fifteen-minute consultations are available between 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.  All sessions are held in the GSA Boardroom, 2nd floor Graduate House.

St. Jacobs Midwives at Health Services

The St. Jacobs Midwives have accepted the Health Services invitation to partner with our physicians and nurses in providing prenatal care and care for the newborn in the first six weeks after birth.

The midwives will be onsite in our new facility to see patients beginning this month – registered students and post docs.

GSA employment opportunity

The Graduate Student Association is seeking applicants for the position of  GSA Administrative Assistant.

Canada Graduate and Professional Student Survey


Check your @uwaterloo inbox, the Canadian Graduate and Professional Student Survey (CGPSS) is being extended! All UW Graduate students will be receiving an e-mail request to participate in a survey about their graduate student experience. It takes about 20 minutes to complete, and individuals who complete the survey will be entered in a draw to win a $500 Graduate Award as a prize for participating.

Call for Volunteers

There are a couple of volunteer opportunities this winter term that we would like to announce:
 
  • Student Technology Advisory Committee (STAC):  STAC is a university committee in place to hear and discuss issues pertaining to technology and how it affects students on campus. Recent discussions have included addressing wireless and cellular coverage issues on campus, and the creation of a student services portal.
