In winter 2023, a pilot interdisciplinary undergraduate course was co-taught by six doctoral students, representing all six faculties at the University of Waterloo. The Wicked Problem of Climate Change brings the disciplinary expertise of both doctoral and undergraduate students together, as they tackle one of the world's biggest and most complex problems. This event will showcase the final projects of the undergraduate students as they propose solutions to a chosen climate change problem.
The event will include poster presentations, special guests and food and drink.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
