chemical
engineering

Waterloo.
She
is
Ecuadorian
and
did
her
bachelor’s
degree
in
chemical
engineering
with
a
specialization
in
polymers
at
EPN
University.
Her
research
focuses
on
the
electrochemistry
and
thermal
management
of
an
electric
vehicle
(EV)
battery
pack.
