Notification that inactive Teams environments will be disabled

Wednesday, August 10, 2022

What is happening? Owners of Teams sites that have unused Power Platform features enabled (e.g., Power Automate, Power Apps) may receive an email indicating that their inactive Teams environment will be disabled.

Why is this happening? When a feature is not in regular use, Microsoft will cleanup inactive environments resulting in the deactivation and eventual deletion of the environment.

What is the impact? The Microsoft Teams site will continue to function as normal; however, the unused Power Platform features and associated data will be archived if no action is taken.

Action required to retain Power Platform features: Please see our Microsoft 365 environment notifications page for information on how to retain your Power Platform features and data, and related support resources.
