IEW 2022 - Balinese Gamelan Ensemble end of term concert

The Music Department at Conrad Grebel University College is hosting a Balinese Gamelan Ensemble.

Each term students learn how to play the primarily percussive instruments in a communal setting without sheet music, and the concert will allow the audience to learn about the culture of Bali and the different elements of World Music. 

The end of term concert is directed by Dewa Suparta and showcases what the students have learned.  The concert has free admission, and attendees will have the chance to try out the instruments for themselves afterwards.
