Removing OneDrive files to free up disk space

Summary

• You might need to remove files from the local OneDrive cache to free up disk space
• This does not remove the files from OneDrive
• Applies to Windows 10
• Select individual files or entire folders

Procedure

• Open File Explorer
• Click on OneDrive in the left-hand column
• Navigate to the file or folder in question
• Right-click on the file/folder
• Click on Free up space
