Summary
- this applies to Nexus joined Windows machines
- machines managed by SCCM connect with the management server regularly to get the latest assigned software and Windows updates
- you may be asked to trigger this communication so recently assigned software will install sooner
Procedure
- use the Search function to find Software Center or find it in the Start Menu under Microsoft Endpoint Manager or Microsoft Configuration Manager
- click on Options in the left hand menu
- click on Computer Maintenance
- click the Sync Policy button
- it can take a few minutes for the computer to communicate with the management server and find any new software to install
- you can monitor the progress under Installation status
