Dr. Colleen Beaudoin is a Registered Psychologist, who received her Ph.D. from York University in Clinical Developmental Psychology. Following registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario, Dr. Beaudoin completed additional training to extend her areas of competency to include lifespan care. Dr. Beaudoin has worked in a variety of settings, including community mental health clinics, educational institutions, and teaching hospitals. She has been working in private practice since 2007 and joined Insight Psychology in Guelph, Ontario, in January 2015.

Dr. Beaudoin has experience working with a wide range of concerns, including: mood and anxiety disorders; learning disabilities; developmental disorders; adjustment to life stress, trauma, loss, or change; self-esteem and identity; behavioural and social difficulties; interpersonal patterns; and parenting practices. She provides assessment, treatment, supervision, and consultation services for children, adolescents, adults, and families.

Although her approach to treatment is largely Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dr. Beaudoin often incorporates other modalities, such as Mindfulness, Self-Compassion, and Emotion-Focused Family Treatment. As an adjunct faculty member at the University of Waterloo, Dr. Beaudoin enjoys supervising graduate students and collaborating with fellow colleagues at The Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment (CMHRT). Other passions include alpine skiing, playing games with her family, and making time for physical fitness and reading.
