Dr. Kerri Wood

Dr. Kerri Wood is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She has been working with children, teenagers, and the people who raise them for over 25 years.

Dr. Wood completed her Ph.D. at the University of Guelph in Clinical Psychology (Applied Developmental Emphasis). Her clinical internship was completed in Calgary at the Alberta Children's Hospital, where she remained to work for an additional 12 years. During this time, she worked in a number of areas of the children's hospital, serving families and children with mood and anxiety disorders/OCD, complex diagnostic presentations, and those with developmental concerns (e.g., autism, treatment-resistant, ADHD, Tourette's Disorder).

Since moving back to the Waterloo region in 2013, she has worked in private practice. She is currently the co-director of Willow Group Psychology + Psychotherapy, which is a small private practice in Uptown Waterloo. Her focus includes the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults. Her approach is grounded in the science of development, relationships, and attachment, and she utilizes techniques from a variety of evidence-based approaches in her work.
