This year, the ICHIC meeting was in Tianjin, China. It was a great conference, seeing what folks in the field have been up to over the last couple years.
Looking forward to 2027 in Barcelona!
Team Deuterium headed to the CSC conference in Ottawa this year. Allysa gave a poster on wastewater purification and Yulia gave a talk on deuteration of mRNA.

Congratulations to Dr. Avery To, who is the chemistry recipient of this year's W.B. Pearson Medal for his thesis titled "A Curiosity Driven Exploration of Hypervalent lodine(III) Reagents". This is the highest level of achievement for PhD graduates in Science at Waterloo.
