A final word from the Vice-President, Advancement
By Joanne Shoveller Vice-President, Office of AdvancementIn my role I have the privilege of engaging with our donors across the globe. No matter where you reside, or how we meet, I'm always impressed by your desire to make a difference. I hope this report displays just how powerful your gifts can be. Your generosity has a profound effect on our campus and enhances our impact on the world.
When you give to Waterloo, you support our students as they develop their intellect, drive and creativity; you help us build a global network of alumni who strive to make a positive mark on the world; and you support researchers and innovators, whose discoveries will improve lives in meaningful ways.
Waterloo is a hub of talent and innovation, and your generosity makes that possible. Together, we can educate tomorrow’s leaders, spur new innovations, and create a more vibrant world.
Thank you for being our partners in change.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
