Login help

I cannot access the login page. The error message is "403 - Forbidden: Access is denied."

You are attempting to access the web client from an off-campus IP address; a VPN connection is required. For best results use the VPN client. If you cannot use the VPN client, see the next item.

Off-campus VPN access

To access the OnBase client from off-campus, you will need to use the VPN.

Using your browser, connect to and login with your WatIAM userid/password. This will open a VPN connect.

Select the OnBase link in the Web Bookmarks section. You will be connected to the OnBase home page using the VPN connection.

Usability varies by browser. For best results, use the VPN client.

I can see the login page, but can't log in.

You must use your WatIAM userid and password (same as Quest or MyHRinfo) to login. If this doesn't work, you may ask for access permission. For Graduate Admissions access, send an email to and for Undergraduate Admissions access, send an email to and indicate 'OnBase' in the subject line. For other departments, see your manager.
