The Main Clinic is located in the north campus just opposite the Columbia Street/Hagey Boulevard entrance and across from Columbia Ice Fields.

Our Waterloo clinic is located in the School of Optometry & Vision Science at 200 Columbia Street West. NOTE: If you’re using a GPS for directions, enter School of Optometry or 180 Columbia Street West as your destination since our street address is not currently recognized.
From Highway 401
- Take exit 278A (from Toronto) or exit 278B (from London) to Highway 8 Kitchener/Waterloo
- Exit at Highway 85 to Waterloo
- Exit at University Avenue West (immediately after University Avenue East exit)
- Follow University Avenue West and turn right at Phillip Street
- Turn left at Columbia Street West

You can access our parking lots from Columbia Street West.
Lot OV is a pay-as-you-leave lot to the right of the School. Parking in OV costs $5 and can be paid by credit card at the gate, or you can purchase a voucher from our cashiers using cash, debit, or credit card.
Pay-and-display parking is available behind the School in Lot X. This lot is a good option if you need to leave (for lunch, for example) and then return. Parking in Lot X costs $5 per day.
Note: Parking in the long-term visitor lots (pay-as-you-leave Lot OV and pay-and-display Lot X) will cost $7 effective May 1st, 2024.
Meter parking is available at the front of the School for $2 per hour. There are also four accessible parking spots. There is no charge to use accessible parking spots but you must display your accessible parking permit.

Location:
The Health Sciences Optometry Clinic is located beside the School of Pharmacy building at King Street and Victoria Street.

Our Kitchener clinic is located in the Health Sciences Building at 10B Victoria Street South (this is the same building as the McMaster Centre for Family Medicine).

You can access visitor parking from Victoria Street South at the Charles Street traffic lights. The patient parking lot is to the left, directly across from the main entrance to the Health Sciences building (which also contains the McMaster Centre for Family Medicine). The Optometry Clinic is located in the northeast corner of this building.
Parking is $3; please pay for a token at our reception desk before or after your appointment.
