The holiday season can be stressful! Renison is giving back to the community this year through the Holiday Giving Tree initiative.
What is a Holiday Giving Tree?
The Holiday Giving Tree helps provide holiday gifts for children in the lives of students in our Renison community. You don’t have to be a direct parent/guardian of the child to participate. At Moose Tracks, the tree will be decorated with anonymous details about the children who will be receiving the gifts. Renison staff, faculty, and community members can select an ornament that describes a child that they feel comfortable purchasing a gift for (of $20-$25 value). Throughout the month of November, staff and community members will take their time selecting the perfect gift before bringing it (unwrapped) to Moose Tracks for wrapping! In December, the student who registered will receive an email with gift pick-up instructions.
Who can participate in the Holiday Giving Tree initiative?
Any Renison community members (staff, faculty, or students) are welcome to participate! Full-time, part-time, and online students are all welcome to participate!
Please know that the gift must be picked up in person at Renison by Friday, November 29.
Your anonymity is protected, and personal names and emails will only be accessible by the Renison Student Experience and Housing (SEAH) Team for project facilitation measures.
What do I need to share?
Using the form below, we only ask a few questions to be sure that you and the child can receive a meaningful gift!
We will ask for:
-
Your name and email address
-
The child’s age range, interests and clothing size
