What is RASC?
The Renison Academic Student Committee (RASC) is a student leadership committee comprised of undergraduate students registered in at least one course at Renison University College. The goals of RASC is to provide service-learning and student leadership opportunities to all Renison students that seek to enhance the overall Renison student experience while at university.
Our Goals
Specific goals of RASC include:
- Support students in building their helping skills and gaining volunteer experience by giving back and taking part in opportunities to make a difference in the campus and local community.
- Build a strong, inclusive community of student leadership within RASC that is committed to student belonging, growth, and personal development.
- Provide a student perspective on Renison’s Board of Governors and Academic Council.

Organizing fundraisers to raise money to support Renison's Student Urgent Needs bursary, such as Krispy Kreme Fundraisers and RASC's Annual Bake & Book Sale

Facilitating DIY study kit sessions to help students stressed during exam season
