The iBASE Peer Mentor Program is a great way for new students to get their questions about UWaterloo, iBASE, and life in Waterloo answered by a Peer Mentor. Peer Mentors are upper-year University of Waterloo students. Most Peer Mentors have studied in the iBASE or BASE programs, and we do our best to match you with a Peer Mentor who is studying in the same faculty as you.
Once you are matched, your Peer Mentor will contact you by email to introduce themselves. You can then ask your Mentor questions by email, or chat through a social media app that you both agree to use (such as WeChat, WhatsApp, or Instagram).
To be matched with a Peer Mentor, please complete the form below. Once we receive your registration, we will contact you to introduce you to your Peer Mentor. The deadline to register is Sunday, June 21, 2026.
If you have any questions about the Peer Mentor Program, please email Andrew Dixon, Renison's Learning Skills Advisor, and he will be happy to help!
