The theme of Wind Out this year was “Rep your floor at Wind Out!”. Students were prompted to dress up in their floor’s assigned colours. The result was a rainbow of beautiful colours scattered across the hall!
The night began with speeches from notable members of the Renison community. President and Vice-Chancellor Dr. Wendy Fletcher started off by congratulating the students on another successful term and reminding them about the importance of trusting their path in life. Rev. Scott McLeod, Renison’s Chaplain, shared grace before the meal, where he spoke to the importance of gratitude and giving thanks for all the amazing relationships that were formed this past year.
Throughout dinner, the Residence Dons and Student Experience and Housing team presented awards to some amazing members of the Renison community. These individuals stood out for their amazing contributions and positive impacts to the university community.
