Please be advised that the Renison Fall 2025 Parking Passes are now available for purchase. Renison parking passes are only valid in the Renison parking lot and currently available for Renison Residents and Renison Students, including ELI Students. Any students outside of these priority categories can park in the Renison lot using the daily parking process. Please note, Renison verifies eligibility prior to issuing passes.
External Students or Staff will be welcome to apply and be placed on a wait list by selecting the External Student option on the parking application. Beginning September 10, 2025, Renison will be releasing any remaining parking passes to External Students that do not fall into the priority categories of Renison Residents and ELI/Renison Students. There is no guarantee that we will have passes available as of September 10, 2025.
There is no EV charger on site. Should you have an electric vehicle, please refer to the University of Waterloo’s EV Charging Policy that contains options for utilizing their charging stations.
Limited Spaces
Parking passes are limited for the Renison lot and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis based on receipt of payment.
Parking Fees
Priority Categories (Renison Resident, Renison/English Language Institute (ELI) Student): The rate is $177.00 + HST per term. Please note the parking pass fees are charged on a full-term basis and are not prorated based on dates of use. Anyone that purchases a pass outside of the priority categories via Shopify may be refunded less a 5% refund fee.
External Students: The rate is $177.00 + HST per term
Daily Parking: The rate is $10.00 per day at the gate for those entering/exiting the parking lot without a parking pass.
Process to Request a Parking Pass
- Complete the online parking application form. Please be sure to select the correct option as each application received is verified. (Resident, Renison Student, ELI Student or External Student)
Renison/English Language Institute (ELI) Student – Students who have at least 1 class at Renison.
External Student/Staff – those who do not fall into the priority categories of Residents, Renison / English Language Institute Students will be placed on a wait list and contacted after September 10, 2025, if parking passes are available at that time. If you choose External Student, DO NOT pay via Shopify at the time of application. - Pay the parking pass fee online through Shopify (select the applicable pass: Resident, Renison/ELI Students.
- An email notification will be sent with the parking code information once the application is approved, and payment is received.
Students who wish to obtain a parking pass for Fall 2025 are asked to complete the application and make payment (Resident, Renison Student/ELI Student) by Friday, August 15, 2025. This will ensure that the parking pass, based on availability, is issued promptly, and activated for September 1, 2025.
