Walk with us on Moose Hide Campaign Day on May 15

Friday, May 9, 2025

Moose Hide Campaign Day is Thursday, May 15. All members of the Renison and University of Waterloo community, including employees, are welcome to join us for a Moose Hide Campaign Day Walk on the University of Waterloo campus.

Participate in the Walk to End Violence. Everyone across Canada is called to join together to take a stand against violence against women and children, and take practical steps for our collective journey of reconciliation. The Moose Hide Campaign, an initiative spearheaded by Student Experience and Housing through the college’s Belonging Project, is an important endeavour towards supporting Renison’s Strategic Plan goal of embedding ‘Indigenization, decolonization, and inclusion, diversity, and equity throughout all aspects of Renison life’.

Join us for the walk

Thursday, May 15

12:00pm - 1:00pm

Meet in the Renison Atrium to walk around Ring Road

In the event of inclement weather, we will take a shortened walk around the University of Waterloo campus.

We encourage you to wear your Moose Hide pin (if you already have one!) and meet us at 12:00pm in the Renison Atrium. We will then begin the walk together through the main artery of the University of Waterloo campus, and return back to Renison. If you do not have a Moose Hide pin, we will distribute them in the Atrium before we begin the walk.

We invite you to visit www.moosehidecampaign.ca to learn more about the Moose Hide Campaign.
