Thinking about adding some international experiences to your current degree? Facutly of Science will be hosting an online information session for Chinese university students who are interested in UWaterloo Science 2+2 programs.

Dr. Jonathan Witt (Associate Dean of Science, International Programs) will give an online presentation in the evening (21:00-22:30 Beijing time) of Oct. 18 (Tuesday) to introduce the 2+2 programs in the Faculty of Science at University of Waterloo.

To celebrate the 2023 Chinese New Year (Year of the Rabbit), the Faculty of Science would like to hold the annual celebration event on Friday, January 20^th, 2023. All current and former Science 2+2/2+1+1 students are welcome to join us. We will have several raffle prizes for you to win while enjoying a variety selection of food and beverages.

Please register to reserve a seat and participate in the raffle before 9 am, Wednesday, January 18th, 2023.

Join us for the China 2+2 Mid-Autumn Festival Party for 2015. You will enjoy the festival with the 2+2 students, faculty and Staff at the Faculty of Science.

Light food, beverage and moon cakes will be provided.

Please join us for the Information Session of Applying for Graduate Programs. Please come 10 minutes before the event. We have invited Dr . Michael Chong to talk about the preparation and the application process for graduate programs. The presentation will start at 5: 30 pm sharp!

Funding for very early stage companies is an important part of the support Velocity provides. The Velocity Fund is a grant program for startups and aspiring entrepreneurs to win funding through competitions held three times per year.

Centre for career action services will offer an information session on graduate school applications specifically for 2+2s. The talk will cover the services offered by Centre for Career Action and Writing Centre, important resources and application tips.

The Chinese New Year is coming! The Faculty of Science would like to hold a lunch for all Science 2+2 students (current or graduated or master or PHD, you are all welcome to join us).

We will have lunch together on Feb 6, 11: 45 am at Sushi 168 in Waterloo.

Tickets are only available through the UWCSSA.
