Hey Science, it's that time of year again. SciSoc is having our annual Gradball at THEMUSEUM. Look forward to a night of dressing up, drinking, dancing, and enjoying one of our last events with our graduating students! With your ticket comes two drink tickets, your Gradball gift, photographers, and hor d'oeurves. This event is 19+. We look forward to seeing you there!

Are you in need of a new pen, notebook, or highlighter to get you going for assignments and exams? Come by to the STC/B1 atrium on February 27th from 11AM-1PM where we will be giving some MUJI stationery away. We hope to see you there!

Hello Science! Do you want a say on how your funding is spent, changes in how science society will be run in the future, and just voicing your opinion? Come and join us on Wednesday, February 12 at 5:30 at our first general meeting this term. You will get an opportunity to vote on some upcoming changes and get some free food after voting. Hey science! Come and join us on Valentine's Day for our spread the love event. It will be taking place in the STC/B1 atrium from 10:30 to 12:30. We will be giving out free carnations with fun and motivating self-love messages and chocolates. You will also have an opportunity to take a compliment and leave another complement for another student to help "Spread the Love". See you there.

Hey Science! Come join us and SBSA for a DIY Self Care Kit to get your midterms started. We will be in STC/B1 atrium on February 6th, giving these kits away from 11AM-2PM. These kits will include face masks, essential oils, fruit gummies, vitamin C, David's Tea, and more to help you relieve some stress and relax a bit during midterm season.

Hey Science! Join us on Wednesday January 29th from 11:00-1:00 PM for our Bell Let's Talk event promoting awareness and reducing the stigma associated with mental health. We will also be giving away hot chocoloate and giving away some Bell Let's Talk swag. Excited to see you there!

Hey Science, come and join us for our first event of the term. We will be hosting a petting zoo with all a bunch of furry friends including bunnies, chickens, chinchilla, guinea pigs, and hamsters! After the event come and sip on some delicious bubble tea. The event will be taking place in STC 2002 from 11:30-1:30 PM on January 28th.

This event is open to all students who have paid the SciSoc fee, while supplies last.

Looking to blow off steam before getting snowed-in by midterms and exams? Didn't get a chance to visit wonderland in the summer? SciSoc will be busing students on Friday October 26th from QNC to Canada's Wonderland to take part in their seasonal Halloween Haunt event!

You can start purchasing tickets for this event from the SciSoc office, STC 1023 (in the hallway beside the Starbucks), on Monday October 15th. The price is $25 for science students and $30 for non-science students. The ticket cost covers travel to and from the park as well as entry into the park itself.

Hey UW! Do you like cozy campfires, s'mores, and stargazing? Then come out to Campfire and Stargazing next Saturday October 13th from 8-11 pm at CIF Firepit 2! We will have telescopes provided by Space Society and so you can see all the stars. This event is free for science students and $2 for non-science students. Please bring your WatCards!

Hey science students. It's almost that time of year again, where everything gets spookier, from your assignments to the shadows around campus! Come and join SciSoc for our first ever trick or treat week. We will have tons of treats and fun activities for you to do in between your midterms and classes so you can de-stress a little. Our departmental clubs and the CnD will also be participating so come out and get to know us all. All of this will be happening during the week of October 15th-19th from 11AM-2PM (daily). We hope to see you there!
