What are general meetings?
Held at least once a term, general meetings are the best way to connect with your society and exercise your right to contribute. General meetings are open to the entire membership of SciSoc. Typical items on general meeting agendas are:
- Updates regarding society development and improvements
- Information from groups serving Science students
- Upcoming event information
- Volunteer opportunities
- Open forum for issues relating to Science student welfare
- Food and drink
Occasionally, important items affecting SciSoc members will be raised, discussed and voted on during general meetings.
