Dating & Neurodiversity

Join SVPRO and the Neurominds Collective for an in-person workshop on Dating & Neurodiversity!

In this interactive workshop, participants will cover topics like:

  • healthy relationships with/as a neurodivergent individual

  • Sensory-friendly dating tips

  • Discuss and understand why people on the Autism Spectrum receive less sexual health education other typically developing people

Participation is not required, although there is an interactive portion to the workshop. Individuals are welcome to sit and listen opposed to being forced to participate :)

AI and deepfake technologies are rapidly evolving tools with significant potential for positive impact. However, they are increasingly being misused to create harmful and exploitative content.

Join us for a 1-hour introductory virtual workshop exploring how sexual violence intersects with technology. We’ll examine how the internet, social media, and direct messaging platforms amplify the speed, scale, and prevalence of abuse in ways we have never experienced before - and what we can do to take collective action against it.

Gender-Based Violence in the Legal System

SVPRO, Women's Crisis Services, and the WRPS IPV unit will explore gender-based violence within the legal system: to learn options for reporting intimate-partner violence and sexual violence, to be educated on support services offered for survivors of IPV and SV, and to inform on mandatory charging related to IPV and SV as it relates to the family violence project.
