Annual awareness-raising events centered on sexual violence are part of the University of Waterloo’s prevention strategy, supporting its goal of promoting a consent culture on campus. These events provide important opportunities to intentionally generate dialogue about sexual violence, advance consent literacy, and build a campus community that prioritizes sexual violence prevention, health, and well-being.
