Martin Cooke Researching COVID-19 Gaps

Martin Cooke is PI of a new CIHR Operating Grant on emerging COVID-19 research gaps. In collaboration with the Métis Nation of Ontario and ICES, the team will use linked survey and administrative health datasets to examine the psychological and socio-economic correlates of COVID-19 vaccine take-up among Métis in Ontario. Qualitative research with clinicians and service provides will help identify strategies for overcoming barriers to vaccination.
