Area Representatives Meetings

The Area Representatives Committee's purpose is to exchange information about current issues facing staff at UW and to keep an open line of communication between the UWSA leadership and staff members across the University. Meetings are open to Area Reps: Find yours here or apply to be one now!

All meetings are noon until 1:00 on Thursdays.

February: Continued discussion about Area Reps

March: Retirees Association (open to all members)

April 18: Regular Area Reps meeting with Steve Fischer from Centre for Community, Clinical and Applied Research Excellence (CCCARE) 
Note this meeting is on the third Thursday this month, to avoid the Staff Conference

May 9: Regular Area Reps meeting

June 13: Lynn Long and Jeremy de Boer from the Conflict Management and Human Rights Office – open to all staff! Click here to register for the June meeting if you are not an Area Rep.

September 13: Open meeting with a presentation on the development of UW disability affinity networks that work for our community’s unique needs
