Saying goodbye to Feridun Hamdullaphur

This month's Area Rep meeting welcomes Dr. Feridun Hamdullaphur, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Waterloo to pay tribute to his time serving at UWaterloo. UWSA Area Reps have enjoyed a close relationship with this President over the years, welcoming him to many meetings and appreciating his approachable style. Now it's time to say goodbye with one last Q&A. 

Feridun Hamdullaphur has served as the sixth president and vice-chancellor of the University of Waterloo since 2010. Among many significant achievements in his decade of impact, Dr. Hamdullahpur was awarded the Queen Elizabeth 2nd Diamond Jubilee Medal in 2013 for his leadership in education and innovation.

Purpose: The purpose of the Area Reps committee is to exchange information about current issues facing staff at UW and to keep an open line of communication between the UWSA Board of Directors, Area Reps, and all staff in general.
