Scam alert - CRA e-transfers scam

CRA e-transfer scam.

Please be aware of an ongoing email scam targeting students. The fraudsters claim that the recipient overpaid tax in 2019 and request the recipient to start a claim to receive an e-transfer.

As of December 3, 2019, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) requires you to submit your fingerprints and photo (biometrics) when applying for all immigration applications from within Canada.
