Once you’ve completed the four core workshops and leadership hours, it’s time to reflect. Connect what you learned in the workshops with your practical experience. This will help you start to form a vision for how you want your leadership practice to evolve.
Reflection guidelines
Your reflection isn’t graded or marked. It’s a chance for you to share what you’ve been thinking about during the program.
What questions do I need to answer?
Answer all of the following questions:

Application of learnings: Throughout the Community Leadership Certificate, you’ve been challenged to think differently about how leadership can look and it’s over all purpose. How were you able to apply learnings from each of the 4 core workshops to your leadership experience?

Self-discovery: What have you learned about yourself throughout workshop series? Review your reflection from the My Full Plate activity and your responses from the post- workshop reflection questions throughout the series.

Future leadership vision: Now that you’ve completed the program, do you have a stronger sense of what you need and want from leadership? Refer to your response to the question: How do you hope your leadership leaves people feeling? From both FCL and Harm Reductive Communication and Conflict Resolution.
How should I format my reflection?
Choose one of the following:

Written reflection: maximum length: 1,050 words.

PowerPoint presentation: showcase your learning in a visual presentation.

Video reflection: maximum length:10 minutes. Upload your video to a third-party host (i.e. YouTube) and submit the link.

ePortfolio: gather items from your experience (worksheets, pictures, workshop notes, etc). This online portfolio will help you show the skills you've learned. You can add it to your resume, LinkedIn profile, CV, or personal blog. Submit the link to your ePortfolio.
