The International Student Experience (ISE) offers many opportunities for students to get involved with the international student community on campus. 

ISE accepts new volunteers every term, visit the International Student Experience site for application deadlines.

Now hiring: BASE Peer Leaders

The Student Success Office is recruiting a team of three (3) upper-year students to serve as BASE Peer Leaders. The Bridge to Academic Success in English (BASE) program is UWaterloo’s English language foundation program that helps students improve their skills in reading, writing, and speaking English while they work towards their degree in Applied Health Sciences, Arts, Engineering, Environment, or Science.

The BASE Peer Leaders will provide support in connecting with students, facilitating social/cultural student development programming, and offering academic programming and peer coaching support.
