Orientation Leader

The Orientation Leader position is a volunteer opportunity within Orientation week, all Orientation Leaders are accountable to the Waterloo Orientation Team (O-Team), the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association, the University of Waterloo, and their faculty to ensure the successful implementation of fall Orientation Week. All Orientation Leaders must have a desire and passion for helping first-year students and must be positive role models both personally and academically. Orientation Leaders will need to be flexible and possess the ability to work closely with and lead others. Orientation Leaders will have a variety of responsibilities and tasks to complete leading up to and during First-Year Orientation. During Orientation, leaders are expected to uphold a high level of enthusiasm and be committed to making Orientation Week an impactful and positive experience for all incoming students. Participation in events entails moderating, supporting, and executing events while continuously being enthusiastic and engaged throughout the whole process.
